Les,re:"Love India or China more?". You should love both, unless your job or your love one's job is affected. God has his/her way of getting the balance in order. These IT/tech jobs transfer have been seeded more than 10 years and now the 'pay-off' is just starting to bear fruit (depending on which side of the equation you are with). Note the word: 'starting'. Not only they have cheap-talent, they also have cheap-infrastructure, so I would see company should do everything in India, China, Africa. ( I know Taiwan's jobs moved to China and the stock market responded very well. ) One positive out of this is that now you can find some good house in Taiwan, most likely for half of the high and is really affordable. (if you don't need job. says you have rich parent, or is retiring) This should help to reduce US's appetite for everything (nurse, housing, security manpower,...) and keep inflation down. OT: 'productivity gain'. I went to a 'grocery store' and bought 10 limes, the matching ads from another store is 20 per Dollar. So the price is not in the computer of the store where I bought, IT's TRUE, she didn't know how to ring up 10 limes. She charged $5 after I told her 50 cents. (she used 50cents * 10).
