Airport security-short airline stocks.
While thinking about airport security and war, as an adversary, I would wait and let the government and industry spend heavily on bomb, gas, gun etc. detection and then just smuggle in a shoulder launch GAM as the next tactic to stop the public flying. Not only would it be a blow to the airlines, but also another knock at the confidence of the government to protect us. Doubtless with our porous borders which can't even keep drugs out, this has got to be an arrow in the quiver of our adversaries.

We don't apparently think we are in a real war yet as the borders haven't been mined. That is the only way I see to really get control over them. Other thoughts welcomed! Maybe not politically correct!

Anyway looking at the airline charts, they look like the next group to puke out what with their huge debt loads. The only thing that gives me pause is the governments seeming willingness to bail them out. Bail them out and no one came to fly anyway because of another attack. Now wouldn't that be ironic. Either way the feds look set to crank up the money print to the next level. That would sure play into the hand of gold holders.

Anyway the airlines [charts] look desperate! May go short Monday!

Anyer
