You're right!

But I have noticed that even good players tend to fool too much when playing with weaker players and lose their game. But some of them recovered in time to escape with a draw or even win the game.

Nowadays, computer chess are pretty strong. But if a player knows his openings well and can play the end-game well, he won't get clobbered by the computer.
