Excellent points Tom, especially the loving, forgiving part created an atmosphere of blindness. Still it's tough to believe his repeated transfers weren't because of the suspicions. My BS flag tells me many people within the insides circle of the church knew he was an active gay priest, and chose to ignore it. But my real point was to highlight the link between homosexuality and pedophilia. The same close intimate contact priests have with young perishiners, exists between scout leader and scouts.
