It is incredible that Washington seems to be thinking that everything is just fine with the economy. It is not. In California, we are in the midst, and probably nearing the end, of a real estate bubble that is absurd, though not as bad as the stock market bubble was. When that 'pops' California will be a long time coming back and the equity people have been counting on to replace their lost stock funds will evaporate. Bush adn the Congress need to get very focused on an economic plan that is more than just 'talking' us into recovery.
