I don't remember. I've looked at a few of the usual suspects (Aces' hardware, sandpile, slashdot) and didn't find it.

But I know that I read that someone claimed run time optimizations were being attempted for the McKinley follow-ons. That that might require OOE is my own speculation (it could have been in whatever I read, but I don't clearly recall that being discussed, while I'm sure I saw - somewhere - that the McKinley follow-ons would, or at least Intel would attempt to have them, include some run time optimization as X86 has had for many years.

That's your first post since 1998 - what compelled you to respond to this particular post?
