Ild, That must be why Latin Americans have taken over all of the US industries and have much better economies than the USA. Especially in Argentina and Venezuela. <VBG>

The folks at Novartis and Glaxo and SAP will be surprised to hear that they just make coffee and cut hair. <g>

The most populous countries on Earth have never been the most economically advanced. Perhaps this time will be different, but I suspect the Chinese will still be buying cap goods for their plants from Japan, Singapore, Germany and the USA. And still-independent and technologically far superior Taiwan.

Labor is only the major cost for some industries, which is why layoffs have proven so ineffective in our own recession.

Also, the rise of a more powerful China will spur innovation and work at defense industries. So, your widget worker may end up putting missiles together.
