Something doesn't smell right with all these T-breds around.

All of what Tbreds around ? - the add specifically states:

AMD Athlon XP 2200+ Processor 266Mhz FSB - LIMITED AVAILABILITY

alienware.com

Just what do you think limited availability means, milo - that they are coming out of their ears?

On that I would have to agree. After all, according to Elmer, AMD has only one little dinky fab. And according to Elmer the yields are terrible. Elmer never lies you know, except, apparently when he is rattling to the SI administrator, that is.

Smells OK to me!

I was surprised to see how many AMD based systems were for sale at Circuit City, yesterday. Now we can expect a wave of Thoroughbred based systems on top of that.
