i have not counted out either japan or turkey.

i have been wrong about japan all tourney, and turkey has been dangerous for the last half decade... too many teams have underestimated them.

good on the senegal team. qualifying ahead of egypt, morroco and ghana is no easy feat. They should have had more respect coming into the cup.

No question about it.

Japan will be the tougher team to beat, but certainly not impossible.

Senegal has already been a great surprise and ironically, they have a French coach.

[now the real irony would be if they become world champions]
