Operations such as Arthur Anderson need to be dismantled to get back some semblance of trust of the American equity markets. The nefarious nature of their operations(shredding docs etc) when they have a fiduciary duty to do otherwise should compel everyone to ask for their break-up. The trust in the American equity markets is much more valuable than the the companies themselves. If "blood money" needs to be paid to keep this trust, then so be it. There is nothing more important then this trust.
