Jim Cash, to restate what SirRealist said in simpler terms, people react negatively to you because you come across as a RICK with a capital "P" in front.

On the other hand, as my father would say, I'm sure that G-d loves you, and that deep down inside, (perhaps quite deep indeed), of you there exists a loving, caring human being.
