Time to buy hearing aid stocks? My mother just replaced a hearing aid purchased in 1999 which she had lost. She replaced it at the same outfit that sold the first one. And now the unbelievable part -- the price for the EXACT SAME HEARING AID WAS NEARLY DOUBLE the 1999 quotation. Not an improved model, but the same thing she first bought in 1999.

If I had not seen this with my own eyes I would not have believed it. Something not "kosher" in the hearing aid business and somebody must be making a mint off this lack of "kosherness".
