A little less than that. Around 65%. And the currency devalued by 40% during the 70s.

Then in the middle of the 80s, IIRC, the feds agreed they'd understated the devaluation of the 70s.

And I wouldn't call it the bear market of 1973 - 1974. I'd call it the malaise of 68 - 81.

Re: EMC. Amazing *STUFF* people'll buy, NO? I'd start buying it at a little under book. Call it $3.00. But I didn't have the nerve to sell it short at $40, so WDIK?
