Fact #1: US involvement in these M.E. disputes becomes more important to the foreign parties than their own issues. Result : US involvement causes much, much more harm, than good. US citizens, if they voted in a national referendum, would never allow the kind of international adventures of the past 50 years. And US citizens have more common sense, and more interest in their own well-being than the parasites behind the Beltway, Republican, Democrat, DOD and lobbyists, spending billions in an unending party behind the curtain of so-called "national security".
