Oh geez man!! Imo pretty much every startup in software will go down or get bought for a low price now (no equity $$ for insiders)- just too much of that perfect storm going on out there.

well imo home prices are going to crash in SV. Of course you can't state this publicly around here because people are so attached to their home values they practically call for a public lynching. I'm a homeowner myself so its not like I want to see things fall apart either but the two catalysts for these prices in the first place were 1) equity values, gone now and 2) high salaries also gone (for a few years).

There were a lot of people out here with I would say marginal jobs making too much. Some of the corporate marketing areas for example, editors at the dotcoms etc. and these jobs are taking 50% hits in pay. Add this to the layoffs and I can't see avg homes selling for 850K anymore... jmo though
