You are so right about that. But you miss the most fanatical and unaccountable constituency of all: the military-industrial-spook complex, stealing from the productive sectors of society, creating wars worldwide for the profit of insiders, and lying to the American people with unaccounted for funds of over $2.3 TRILLION, just so far as we know to date. That is almost thirty times the size of the $80 billion Enron meltdown. Once those thieves are exposed and made accountable to the American people, they will collapse into an efficient fighting force, instead of a bloated one with more generals than anytime in history, and greater secret influence on the media.
