I got news for you, my friend. Most of the problems you describe are just as prevalent in the so-called upper-class Republican suburbs as they are in the inner city. Who's buying the crack, who's getting the abortions, whose parents are divorcing each other on a routine basis? If you wish to continue to lament the "breakdown of society," a good place to start might be the so-called upper-class Republican suburbs, where these "liberal" ideas have been firmly embraced for the past three decades. A lot of these suburban kids are just as messed up as anything you'll find in the inner city. Only you never read much about it.
