Oh, man, is there any aspect of Tony's life of which you won't say "might be an area the Feds will look into"? Here's a pretty sound explanation of "how Tony knew". Message 15378762 Looks very much like he or someone he knew got a letter from the SEC requesting anything they had to offer regarding SEVU. It's not much a stretch to conclude from that that the SEC was investigating SEVU! Note in the reply to that message that SEVU's CEO resigned the next morning. Not exactly unknown information!
