I favor steel tariffs. I made a comment the other day, that Bush should not veto a package that contains a whole lot of Democrat pork, because of the urgency of the package in dealing with the war on terrorism.

It is obvious, that the Democrats are in the wrong here. And Bush should veto it. If he doesn't, then he is viewed as favoring big government spending. But if he does veto it, and there are more terrorist attacks (which is highly probably), and there was something in the package which could have prevented it, then he is viewed as being responsible.

It is a shame, we have to deal with Democrats on major issues like this. Why can't they be good Americans, and take the pork out, instead of always trying to smear the other guy, who really does have our best interests at heart.
