W wants war to continue forever and hopefully his popularity. No one I know thinks that al queda and its affiliates shouldn't be taken out. W throws into the mix any other element or country he doesn't like. that is something people may legitimately disagree with. Iran will be our ally in a few years if he wouldn't threaten them and alienate its new generation of people. Same with N Korea and Cuba. Its what happened in Russia and China(though he doesn't quite realize it yet) and will happen in those places. That is something quite different from terrorist groups. And yes we as a nation always run the risk of violence in the exercise of our freedoms. Remember how the Communist regimes in Russia and China would tell their people that we were a land of violent outlaws? And btw under mr bill any attempt to use the military was attacked by the right for political gain.
