Re: Last night I heard on the news that American companies will be sued for the role they played in the subjugation of South Africa's blacks during apartheid. Have you you heard about these lawsuits? No, I have not. But there was a news brief last week that I read about an undersecretary in the Dept. of Commerce who was convicted of breaking trade sanctions in the early 1980's, selling sensitive technology to the apartheid government of So. Africa, during the Botha administration. Now I've heard of about half a dozen convicted felons serving in the Bush administration.
