Slider, the next big easy money?

I shorted ACF and CCR this last go. Made more than just a few bucks on ACF and a few on CCR.

But these home builders and financials are hanging in there. If they hang in there this dip and don't cave, and odds look like they certainly could, looks like maybe the bubble will grow. Money finding a safe haven. Yea right. Gross I believe touched upon this as well (if not Gross someone else).

Everyone at work is now yipping about the latest bucks they've been saving on variable refiances. Looks like AG could live to fight another day.

I tell ya, these shorts ain't been easy the last several months. But as with PM's patience might really pay off nicely.

I think I'm now rooting for the BKX to break 900 again. Better yet let it push 1000. I know then where I might be overweight.

i do not understand how a dow at 6000 would be the mommy of all buying opportunities but that hgmcy at its current price and p/e ratio is not the mommy of all buying opportunities...

okay you sold some at a good price for now...what if hgmcy goes to 100...at which point between 12 and 100 are people gonna run to buy it back...unless you feel comfy holding lots of pictures of expired presidents...i'm not so sure that is such a sweet idea for the ol' "long run"...
