You're right Paul.

1) We do not have a lot of information to be able to judge the quality of all the diamonds found in the Renard pipes( forms, color, macles....).

2) And without quality appreciation, difficult to find out about the value of the diamonds.

3) And without value, impossible to make our mind about the economic viability of mining them!

4) And without profits anticipation, shares usually go down!!!!!!

The only detailled analysis of a kimberlite coming from in the Otish was performed on the Beaver Lake kimberlite discovered by Ditem (DIT) about 5 years ago.

The report, entitled «Caractérisation de l'intrusion kimberlitic du Lac Beaver, Monts Otish - Pétrographie et minéralogie» was published last year. Highly oxidizing magmatic conditions destroyed most of the diamonds present in this pipe, leaving a few corroded tiny diamonds.

Just hope that the Renard diamonds are in better shape!

And I really think they are, but I would better like that fact confirmed by an independant analysis.
