The Dick Army plan was very similar to Forbes' proposal. And I agree it's certainly worth doing. The complexity of the tax system does favor the wealthy and it should be abolished.

One of the main reasons I favor the consumption tax is it could get rid of the IRS completely. Almost every state calculates a state consumption tax at the check-out counter. Therefore, adding a federal tax on top of it would be relatively easy process wise.

Which political party do you think is more apt to move in that direction?
