ALL: You may want to watch the AMAT June call volume, or those of others in the chip sector.

The June 20 Calls are up 40% today and up 80% from levels a couple days ago. With AMAT down from $28 recently, they could do really well tomorrow IF, I say, IF the B2B is good and they decide to ramp up the SOX tomorrow.

This reminds me a little of May 7th when call volume increased rather dramatically from its norm. Of course, all reading this thread, know the extreme dangers of buying options. That said, I buy them selectively and often do well. Earlier this year, FNM calls went up 700%, HAL options 550%, and MIR options expired worthless (i.e. then went up 300% the following month as I was a month early -- oh well!). Newbies should NOT play options except for maybe hedging or with a little fun money perhaps.
