They tide really turned against the repugnant war effort and the vile leadership we had in the nation after it was shown that totalitarian means would be used to suppress American citizens expressing their First Amendment rights to peacefully protest government wrongdoing. Yes it did, but can't you read? The protest was not "peaceful" and the guardsmen were frightened, young, inexperienced and threatened. Your use of adjectives is juvenile and foreign to American adults. Go spew your hate mongering somewhere else. Your Fidel/Stalin/Lennon/Hitler like hate speech is repugnant. Ray: What on earth is the matter with you? First you are a lesson in perpetuity, but now you resort to using adjectives, which as everyone knows are "foreign to American adults". Good grief, man, have you no shame. Keep your language simple; use only verbs and nouns. As we all know adjectives are subversive.

Dear Raymond: Its obvious to me you have never served this country. I hesitate to call it YOUR country since you seem to have such disdain for it. To call our Armed Forces THUGS and to call that a peaceful protest makes me think you are an Alien. I will be more BLUNT, those NICE LITTLE STUDENTS were tossing bottles filled with PISS, and on top of that the Guardsman were enveloped with TEAR GAS from the students throwing the cannisters back at them, and to top that off there was a light drizzle. ANYONE who has ever gone through a tear gas episode can tell you how painful it is when your skin is wet, and they were backed up against a chain link fence with no where else to go. Even then most of the Guardsman fired OVER THE HEADS of the students which is why several INNOCENT BYSTANDERS were wounded and killed. Now, I dont wish to discuss this any longer. You are either an idiot or a foreign individual bent on attacking America. JDN
