<<Big Picture

Consumer credit slowed dramatically in mid 2001 with back to back declines. A strong upturn in nonrevolving credit was tied to auto buying and 0% financing costs. Over the ten months since July, revolving credit (credit cards) has shown five months of decline. The underlying weak growth reflects added consumer caution and presumed reduction financed through home refinancing. Rising household financing pressures and the lack of equity gains argue for a continued slow pace of growth over the near term.

BTW, at what time EST would i have to be awake to watch Bras against England??? Sorry Brit fans i am rooting for Brazil.
But as usual i will be wondering where are the huddles and touchdowns:) Also the method of tie-breaking is horrendous, let them play until a tie breaking goal is scored in a normal manner--but let the first tie-breaking goal be "sudden death" just like we do it in American Football. Shoot offs are a joke.
