TSTA TurboSonic Receives US$1 Million New Systems Order

WATERLOO, Ontario, June 18 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- TURBOSONIC TECHNOLOGIES, INC. (OTC Bulletin Board: TSTA - News), a leader in air pollution control technology, today announced its receipt of a new systems order totaling approximately US$1 million subsequent to the close of the third fiscal quarter.

The order is for a system to control sub-micron particulate and condensible Volatile Organic Compounds ("VOC") emissions from a major corn processing operation in Illinois. The products include TurboSonic's Turbotak Wet Scrubber and SonicKleen(TM) Wet Electrostatic Precipitator.

Edward Spink, TurboSonic's Chairman and CEO, said "This order was won in a very competitive bidding process and is a "first of" in the industry. We believe this order opens a new emerging market for our proprietary products and represents a major growth opportunity for TurboSonic." Mr. Spink added "I think the EPA will be watching this installation, and may use it to set new BACT (Best Available Control Technology) standards for the industry, which has 75 plants in production or under construction."

TurboSonic Technologies designs and markets proprietary air pollution control technologies to industrial customers worldwide. Its products are designed to meet and exceed the strictest emissions regulations, improve performance, reduce operating costs and recover valuable by-products.
