mm: Overall...YES

One must do one's due diligence in making the equity selections, but IMO there is far more money to be made on the long side going forward than on the downside.

In the late 90's the online message boards were awash with Bullish Gurus and their groupies. They were yelling "new era". Of course, most of those self proclaimed gurus are gone as well as most of their flock. Now we are seeing that phenomena in reverse, IMO. They are yelling "mother of all bear markets". In less than a year most of the Bearish Gurus will be gone and so will be their flocks. And, the "big boys" will have managed to fleece both groups.

Of course, the idiot permabears and permabulls are nothing more than broken clocks that get to pound their chest when the market happens to move in their locked in “one-way” mind-set. It takes a group of even bigger idiots to make up their flocks.

The more things change, the more they stay the same...

Regards,
LG
