I look only at the "equity P/C" ratio, the inclusion of indices options clouds the issue, IMTO. I wrote about in on J.T. thread last night.

How do you know it is not Index PUT profit taking?
That is the problem with P/C rations.
Sell to close as well as intrad day buys followed by sells shows up as activity. Both are misleading.

Only relavent factor IMO is max pain.
Max pain is holding at 30/31 or so but the pain factor on 32's has increased which actually sugges more calls that puts at that strike or profit taking on the puts at qqq 32.

Neither of the above can be construed as bullish IMO.
