There is no "deserve" in football. Sometimes players get yellow cards because of fouls they never commited on Totti, this time Totti got a yellow card for a foul that may have happened.

You can only say Totti didn't "deserve" it if you are also willing to say Italy doesn't "deserve" all the good things that come from Totti's dives. Like any number of free kick goals.

I wish Italy had gone through, but today was Korea's day and I congratulate them.

>I'm Italian and today is a sad day for all Italians.

With such last name I would have never guessed it you were Italian!

Yes, it is a sad day each time you lose in the WC and go home.

>In your opinion, was Totti fouled on that play?

No.

> Did he deserve the card in that particular play?

Yes he deserved the second yellow.

The reason it was such a horrible call is that the ref was so far away (~40 yards). A ref should not call a flop unless he is absolutely sure. Whether he calls a foul on the defense is another issue, but the flop should definitely not be called on a whim.
