I like my steaks rare to medium rare. A meal at many restaurants today is also often times enough for two human beings. I'll just eat about half of it and ask for a 2go plate that I'll heat up in the oven the next day. If the meat isn't overcooked you can do that without it turning into a piece of leather. My wife likes her steaks well done. I also have a buddy who will literally tell a waiter to burn it and he's not kidding. He's also particularly finicky. The only 2 vegetables he will eat are corn and potatoes. Anything that is green or swims is out of the question. He does take vitamins though.
