I think that I assumed someone older in part because Woodward said so and in part because I assumed it would take someone who had been around the block a few times to have the perspective to break ranks like that. But now that Buchanan is on the table, I guess it could have been someone young and idealistic.

Way back when, I worked with someone whose husband was in Nixon's WH. I wonder what happened to him... <g>
