sounds like they're taking numbers down for the Q1; if i heard right they're saying 15-25% decline in license revenue (I assume that is yr-yr) and 7 cents of EPS.

as far as comparing Ellison to Lay, Kozlowski et al, i just don't agree. he's aggressive, pays himself too much, and is a little too full of his media personality, but Oracle is NOT a ridiculous house of cards built on bullshit acquisitions and negative cash flow like Sunbeam, Worldcom, Tyco, Cisco, HP, et al.

Cheers

<<I personally find your comments regarding ORCL quite baffling and don't know what basis you have for believing any of the above>>

Dr. Jeff -- I will turn the same statement back to you. Other than the guilt-by-association innuendo that Arthur Andersen audited Oracle's books, what basis do you have for thinking the Oracle numbers are anything but legitimate? Point me to something in the financial statements, or in the footnotes, or in their other disclosure, that gives you a basis for your negative opinion of Mr. Henley and Oracle's accounting.

Cheers
