<I will likely double up to bring my average cost to $8 or so.>

Hi Kash, what is your timeline and thought on a recovery? It has to be based 100% on Hammer. Are you going to play the hype, or do you think Hammer will really get AMD to the next level?

Just wondering, thanks.

Dave

We should have a $6-7 stock price real soon.

I will likely double up to bring my average cost to $8 or so.

Kash, the 5 year low is $6.37. I think AMD will do a retest of that number in the next month. It's amazing things are that bad.

Hopefully, by AMD's CC, business will have picked for XMAS and their forward guidance will be better.

"This is a pretty stunning warning.

I could have foreseen a $100M shortfall but $200M is way out of line."

Agreed...Hurting numbers...certainly not on my radar screen...I decided several months ago to wait 'til q2 numbers posted before dipping in again...May have to wait a few more months now...

In retrospect, AMD had the XP blip in q4 but without much in the way of enhanced (as far as MHZ equivalency)XP product since, it's been a steady (or not so steady) decline in revenues...INTC's numbers will provide the most important benchmark and put AMD's q2 numbers in a more meaningful context (not that $700 million in revenues doesn't already convey meaning but misery does like company, usually)...Could INTC come in below $6 billion??? How much below??? Yikes!!! INTC's in the red below $6 billion...Nas 1000 here we come???

Kash
you are in technology at pick of pricing war and in a depressed market so why would 200M be unreasonable?
btw I'll be buying at those levels as well
