Yes, but he made it clear that he does not see a v-shaped rise in rates. He thinks it will be a moderate and gradual rise. He sees re-inflation to about 3% annually, topping out at maybe 4% at most. All of this in his 3-5 year horizon.

Even with this rise in rates and lack of capital appreciation for bonds, he still sees bonds as generating a 6% return over this timeframe and stocks doing a little worse than that.

mike: i am not one to debate Gross. his credentials speak for themselves. i get his monthly and its why i am more cash than equity.
