i'm still using a clone with a 550mhz PIII, and i still haven't thought about upgrading it. of course all i use it for is trading and websurfing, and occasionally playing Diablo II for the one millionth time.

AAPL warning was no surprise. how that company stays in business selling Mac's at twice the price of PC's is beyond me. or maybe that's exactly why they're still in business. i guess they will always have their cult followers who are willing to pay out the nose.

15 year return on investment for AAPL shareholders = 0%. LOL.

If you don't upgrade right now, then the terrorists have already won! Seriously, how can your PC manage all those animated banner ads and pop ups with a poxy 800 MHz processor?

--------------
My Athlon 800 MHz CPU was $300 two years ago in May. Now I can get one that's 2x faster for 1/4 the price. Talk about price deflation! Still not worth the hassle of upgrading my slow PC at home.
