One article I read described a small plane hitting a nuclear plant as similar to a bug hitting a car windshield. Don't stay up late worrying about that particular possibility.

You cannot get thru the containment shell with a small plane, and if you do get thru the shell, with anything, it does not guarantee you will hit the core, or cause a release of radioactivity. Scram is already initiated by seismic sensors in most plants due to possile earthquake hazards. A major breach would not be pretty, but it would not necessarily be catastrophic.
