Hi DJ, I can detect, even through the fairly dense cyber space, that you are feeling pretty good these days even given all the doom and gloom on this thread and in WSJ.

Maurice may wonder why that is. Why we who bet on zero sum games are still gaming.

Well, it is perhaps because we did not bet on Q and such negative sum games.

You read this already, and I am providing the URL so that Maurice will dig through it to realize that for his health, he should sell negative sum Q and buy zero sum Au:0)

DJ, here is a graph of sales of cdma2000 and W-CDMA devices, all of which pay me a royalty. My company also sells the ASICs which drive them. 3gtoday.com Here is a link to the company, Au, which is defeating the Evil Empire of Doh!CoMo using cdma2000 as their light sword. au.kddi.com

There is a trend in that 3G subscriber graph. If you have studied maths, you might be able to pick it up.

< It's not the product, nothing personal, it's just that other people do not feel like buying anything anymore. They prefer to stick to something more precious slash more valuable slash less perishable than your XQY product... keep on imagining.>

The people with the money disagree with you. People like to communicate. It's a higher priority than food, because they have to communicate [in the modern world] to get food. They can go for a week without food, but it's tough to earn a living for a host of people if they can't communicate while mobile. Some of them would be better off if they went a week without food! They've got plenty go on with.

When you have a CDMA mobile cyberspace device, you'll be able to read my words wherever you are. Now, I bet you want to buy one of those gadgets. You will pay me a royalty and buy my ASICs when you decide you can't go without my words while you are out and about. Jay too, during his visits to Shanghai etc, will be paying me to have a device with which to read my pearls of wisdom.

Hey! Pearls!!! Better than gold. They were money before gold was invented.
