BOISE , Idaho -(Dow Jones)- Micron Technology (NYSE: MU - News) Inc. said the antitrust division of the U.S. Department of Justice is conducting an industrywide investigation into alleged anticompetitive practices among manufacturers of dynamic random access memory.

Micron, which makes DRAMs, Flash memory, other semiconductor components and memory modules, said it doesn't believe it has violated U.S. antitrust laws and will cooperate fully with the investigation.

In a press release late Tuesday night, the company said it received a grand jury subpoena Monday from the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of California seeking information related to the investigation.>>

According to these charts here of Korea and Taiwan, they were falling on their own accord all session long until and after the MU news broke at 11:27 (an hour ago). Particularly Taiwan started off with a sharp decline,
