CHENEY'S DESTRUCTIVE LITTLE GAME

Quincy,

Re: The economic impact outside of California can't be overstated due to this crisis.

Portland, Oregon has been especially hard hit. Their basic rates through PGE, an Enron subsidiary, have gone up 50-70% due to Lay's criminal activity and Cheney's conspiracy to aid and abet fraud.

Intel has cancelled a 300mm semiconducter fab just south of Portland indefinitely, primarily due to concerns about unstable electricity costs from PGE. (Thanks Dick, thanks Ken, you a-holes. Thanks a lot.)

Hundreds of loyal PGE employees have had their retirements ruined.

Most of Central Oregon has had a 20-30% rate hike, the first from my service provided since the last really stupid management blunder, WPPSS bond defaults in the early '80's.

Most of Washington state has endured rate hikes of anywhere from 25-150%.

All the aluminum smelter on the BPA system have been shut down. Thousand thrown out of work.

BPA raised their basic rates to my co-op by 46% last Oct. 1 because they had too little power to sell. Today, they are demand a rate increase, because they have too much power to sell.

THANKS KENNY BOY, THANKS TRICKY DICK. You crooks, ya bastards.
