For those of you anyplace near Wisconsin, the Milwaukee lakefront festivals are highly recommended. The climate sux most of the year, but June and July are great. Some good shows on that list this year.....

For all the cheeseheads and near-cheeseheads or anyone who wants to come to Summerfest, for everyone else it's OT:

On Wednesday, June 19, 2002, we (AirTran) begin flying to Milwaukee, Wisconsin. We will begin daily, non-stop service from Milwaukee to Orlando, as well as twice-daily, non-stop service from Milwaukee to Atlanta with connections to two dozen other destinations.

Additionally, we will add a third flight between Milwaukee and Atlanta on August 6, 2002. On October 5, 2002, we will begin new non-stop service between Milwaukee and Tampa, and we will begin new non-stop service between Milwaukee and Fort Lauderdale on November 5, 2002.

To help celebrate our new service, we are putting the great city of Milwaukee on sale for travel to and from every city in our route network. You must purchase sale tickets at least 7 days in advance of travel, but no later than June 26, 2002.

Travel is valid on Mondays, Tuesdays, Wednesdays, Thursdays, and Saturdays. You may travel on these sale fares until September 30, 2002.

You may only purchase your Milwaukee sale fares at airtran.com .

Following is just a small sample of one-way sale fares:

$54 Milwaukee – Atlanta
$69 Milwaukee – Fort Lauderdale
$69 Milwaukee – Gulfport/Biloxi
$69 Milwaukee – Memphis
$69 Milwaukee – Orlando
$69 Milwaukee – Philadelphia
$69 Milwaukee - Tampa
$89 Milwaukee – Dallas/Fort Worth
$89 Milwaukee – Houston (Hobby)

Remember: Travel may originate in either city and all fares are one-way and don’t require a roundtrip purchase.
