JF: This is like the steel industry. Huge capital intensity. Big ups and downs and commodity based pricing. I think this behavior can be likened to the old steel battles of the past. There is always going to be dumping as mfrs. get caught long and are more interested in cash flow then accrued earnings. Or you might say the generic RAM industry is like the airlines. I really don't know what the big surprise is concerning MU and the other biggies like Samsung. I am sure they don't want to be losing $ on every chip sold. I don't buy the driving the small guy out of business conspiracy scenario. This business (commodity RAM) by nature exhibits these characteristics.JFD
