I think you have a romantic view, John, of what it is like to get "National Health Care" in these other countries, where all the top Doctors either are in private practice, or down at the American Embassy applying for a Visa.

The people waiting for "Charity Care" at our Public Hospitals are getting equal or better treatment that they would get in these socialist countries with their "National Health" schemes. When socialism has been such an abysmal failure around the world in every other economic activity, I don't know why the left here still has this sentimental view of how well it would work here for health care.
