Nah i think you can blame the Inut runs on 1.5 million share netscape floats, 500,000 ebay floats, 8 million amzn float with 16 million shorts...stuff like that...the rest of it was just a bunch of manipulated smoke and mirrors...at the top...all the biggies...JDSU, YHOO, AOL, all 1 - 1.5 billion in monthly option dollars outstanding...That's like per month (jan 2000 alone)....Now they make money the old fashioned way...Like IBM ...off the pension fund....the day i knew we were in trouble was the day that GE capital management wouldn't lend me any money to change a toilet...
