The pocket-sized dual-band/tri-mode a460 has one-touch PCS Wireless Web(SM) access enabling consumers on Sprint's nationwide wireless network to retrieve vital information such as e-mails, flight schedules, movie listings and stock quotes while on-the-go. The a460's enlarged LCD screen displays up to eight lines of text while browsing the Web, and its blue backlight makes viewing the information clear. In addition to the more than 60 games offered on the PCS Wireless Web(SM), the a460 includes three embedded games for customers who need a break from their busy schedules.
Features such as voice- activated dialing and the four-way navigation key on the a460 will help consumers manage hectic lifestyles by shortening the number of steps involved in dialing numbers and navigating menu functions.
Customers can give their a460 phones a sense of personal style and attitude by wirelessly downloading entertaining ring tones and screensaver graphics through PCS Ringers & More(SM).
A selection of distinctive enhanced ringers embedded in the a460 have the ability to play up to 16 tones at once, allowing users to clearly distinguish their phones' rings in busy environments.
