Yes Bruce the US$ did recover from it's low of 109.54 and is now trading at 109.8 (30 minute delayed). Gold and gold stocks moved accordingly, but the dollar doesn't look strong.

Bullish Comment on ESR from Yahoo Today

It's hard to wade through Yahoo and draw any conclusions but once in awhile you find fact-based comments like this one. Bruce, I took a little position too. Probably not much downside from 70 cents and might have some nice upside if it gets noticed. Might be good long term or as a trade. Thanks for mentioning.

**** again, FWIW.

Some nice DD here.........

Here's some DD I found on another board, very informative and accurate. I totally agree with what is said here for price targets. Easy double.

Watch ESR closely, here’s why:

From a PR released yesterday (JUNE 18th), great NEWS on 30 Million dollar contract. Read this:

Encompass Services Corporation (NYSE:ESR - News), the premier provider of facilities systems and solutions in the United States, announced today that it has been awarded a $30-million contract to provide general mechanical services for Dow Chemical's Michigan operations.

As part of the three-year agreement, Encompass was chosen as the single supplier for individual projects less than $50,000 in total installed costs, as well as other "time and materials" work that has been handled previously by multiple contractors at Dow facilities in Midland, Mich. The Midland site is the original location for Dow manufacturing founded by Herbert Dow in 1897. It is located on 1,900 acres and has 550 buildings and 40 production plants.

Encompass will provide labor, supervision and equipment for traditional craft roles, including pipe-fitter, millwright, electrician, boilermaker and carpenter. The company plans to open an office in Midland and employ an estimated 140 people, with most of the positions filled from the local community.

"We're pleased Dow has selected us to service this important site -- the fifth location we've served in a relationship that dates back to 1969," says Joe Ivey, Encompass president and chief executive officer. "This contract represents solid progress in our effort to increase our service business with Fortune 500 customers such as Dow."

The statement I like is "This contract represents solid progress in our effort to increase our service business with Fortune 500 customers such as Dow." I see More contracts coming from other Fortune 500 companies soon, they will follow Dow Chemical. This stock will go back to +$1 easily.

It's clearly undervalued and oversold, check out the fundamentals:

2002 Outllok:
EPS from continuing operations is expected to range from $0.05 to $0.35.

They were EBITDA positive during the Q1, and expect EBITDA to range from $155 to $195 million for 2002.

Chart is ready for a breakout, stochastics just ready to cross here into run mode (look at the pattern), a few sellers at this level. IMO it's an easy double (very short term). Mid term targets are +$2/$3
