it's hard to explain why you can miss... i have only missed twice, but when i did, i missed BIG. i then stood there in disbelief on both occasions. they are pros... and well, none of usual pk men miss when they are joking around... it is up to the keeper to make the play. but look at vinny's reaction here... imagine an entire nation with that kind of passion ready to love or hate you. (imagine if you played for columbia!) Superstars they are... but still human. You stop taking a casual shot and decide to take the perfect shot. Once you are threading the needle... mistakes happen imo. then we yell at them ;)
