This shows you how much they pay attention...since September 2001 I have probably been the biggest AMD basher on SI. I actually started to lose faith when the Palomino core was late and it was capped by a couple of pet peeves...Jerrys funding a chair a U of ILL. with shareholders money and his "planned" stock dumping in May 2001 while knowing Palomino was slipping.

Also, it's out of the frustration of watching them delay...delay...delay...not to mention their failure to see how the MHz of the P4 would put them in an inferior pricing position and coming late with the PR rating...all we heard was "snicker, snicker" when Jerry mentioned the P4 low IPC.
Man, was he dumb.

Then again, they could design a faster Mhz chip too.
