tuna, As I see it any pop in gold from Middle East situation is to be shorted.

The big driver of gold is the US dollar index and the India/Pakistan situation.

So when we hear of a suicide bombing, it could even turn into a a trigger for some strength in the dollar and that is negative for gold.

The market may now be anticipating some sort of bounce in the dollar, given the way golds are giving up the gains. I am a believer in the gold bull but expecting a pause here along with a short term rally in the stock market. Getting out of more gold stock puts now.
